VEUBI360 LTD ("Veubi360", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who We Are

We are VEUBI360 LTD, Company Number 16939027, registered at 124 Portland Road, London, Croydon, SE25 4PL, England. We are the data controller for personal data collected through the Veubi360 platform.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

Account information: full name, email address, phone number
Booking details: pickup and drop-off addresses, delivery instructions, parcel descriptions
Payment references: payment intent IDs, billing identifiers (via Stripe — we do not store full card numbers)
Driver location: precise real-time GPS coordinates while a driver is LIVE or completing an active delivery, including when the app is closed or not in use
Communications: in-app messages, support tickets, and emails sent to us
Proof of delivery: photos taken at pickup and drop-off, recipient signatures
Device identifiers: push notification tokens for delivery updates
Usage data: app interaction logs, error reports

3. How We Use Your Data

We process your personal data to:

Create and manage your account
Fulfil delivery bookings and connect you with drivers
Process payments securely via Stripe
Provide live delivery tracking
Send push notifications about your active deliveries
Respond to support requests
Comply with legal obligations
Prevent fraud and ensure platform safety

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data on the basis of:

Contract performance: to fulfil your booking or your driver agreement
Legitimate interests: for platform safety, fraud prevention, and service improvement
Legal obligation: for compliance with financial and regulatory requirements
Consent: for marketing communications where you have opted in

5. Third-Party Services

We work with carefully selected third parties:

Stripe: payment processing and Connect payouts for drivers (Stripe Privacy Policy applies)
Supabase: secure cloud database and authentication infrastructure
Google Maps Platform: address lookup, route calculation, live map display
Expo / Firebase: push notification delivery
Resend: transactional email delivery

These providers are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own marketing purposes.

6. Driver Location Data

Precise driver location is collected and transmitted while a driver is LIVE or completing an active delivery. Collection can continue when the app is closed or not in use. Location is used to:

Match drivers with nearby delivery jobs
Share real-time delivery tracking with the assigned customer
Calculate route and estimated arrival times
Allow authorised Veubi360 operational staff to monitor active deliveries

Tracking stops when the driver is offline and has no active delivery. Drivers can revoke location permission in device settings at any time, but cannot go LIVE or use driver location tracking without the required permission.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Delivery records are retained for 7 years for legal and financial compliance purposes. Proof of delivery photos are retained for 90 days after delivery completion. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Request erasure (right to be forgotten)
Restrict processing in certain circumstances
Data portability
Object to processing based on legitimate interests
Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
